The Hackathon at ILLUMINATI 2025 is where innovation, creativity, and collaboration converge to create extraordinary solutions. We are thrilled to announce four dynamic domains that will set the stage for groundbreaking ideas:

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Teams must consist solely of approved participants who are not in roles such as organizers, mentors, volunteers, judges, sponsors, or any other position of privilege at the event.
  • Teams are encouraged to seek guidance and assistance from organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and others during the event.
  • All project development must take place exclusively during the hackathon.
  • Teams may base their work on an idea they conceived prior to the event.
  • Teams collaborating on a shared idea are permitted, with their work being evaluated based on the innovation and execution quality of their hack. (It’s challenging nowadays to create something entirely original, and teams might not always realize an idea has been previously implemented.)
  • Teams are allowed to utilize libraries and frameworks in their projects. However, pre-developing a project and making it publicly available solely to reuse it during the event violates the competition’s principles and may result in immediate disqualification from the hackathon.
  • Hacking must stop when the allotted time is over. However, minor fixes such as resolving a bug that breaks your application (and requires only a few lines of code) during the demo are acceptable. Significant changes or adding new features after the deadline is
  • Teams may face immediate disqualification for including any religious or political commentary that the review committee finds inappropriate or offensive.
  • Organizers reserve the right to disqualify teams at their discretion for reasons including, but not limited to, violation of the competition rules, breaches the code of conduct, or any unsporting behavior.
  • At least one team member must remain present at the hackathon venue at all times throughout the duration of the event.
