Event Description

The Pharma Blend Battle is a dynamic and intellectually stimulating competition designed for pharmacy students. Participants will compete in teams to demonstrate their knowledge, precision, and creativity across three exciting rounds. This event not only tests theoretical understanding but also practical application and problem-solving skills, culminating in a hands-on formulation challenge.

2^nd– 3,500

In Pharma Blend Battle the teams will compete across three rounds:

Round I:

See it, Spot it, and Score it (S3): Identify pharmacy-related items within 30 seconds. The categories include human anatomy, chemistry, pharma engineering, pharmacognosy, pharmacology etc.

Round II:

Calculation Clash (C2): Solve pharmaceutical calculations in pen and paper mode. The focus areas: dilutions, conversions, solution stoichiometry, dose calculations, kinetics etc.

Round III:

Recipes for Remedies (R2): Teams prepare a pharmaceutical formulation with the ingredients provided in stipulated time. Set of Ingredients may not be same for all the teams.

Elimination rounds will be played if more no. of entries.

Elimination:

Performance in each round is evaluated based on scores, with ties resolved through buzzer rounds.

Winner:

The team which demonstrate excellence in theory, practical application, and innovation will be the winner.
