Description:
The Fastest Line Follower event challenges participants to design and program robots that can follow a marked line on a track with speed and accuracy. Compete to create the most efficient robot capable of navigating twists and turns in record time!

Rules and Regulations:
The surface of the track will be white with a 20mm black line marked on it. Robots will follow the black line from a starting location to the finish line.
The robot that finishes the goal in the shortest time with the least penalty is the winner.
There will be 2 free hand touches, after that each hand touch will have a penalty of +10 seconds.
Check points will be used in case of hand touches, player will have to place the robot behind the last cleared checkpoint.
The time will be measured from the moment the robot starts till it crosses the finish line.
In case robots do not finish the track, number of checkpoints cleared will be recorded.
Any damage caused to the arena at any point of time will lead to disqualification / penalty at judges’ discretion.
Maximum number of people per team is 4.
Ready made robots are not allowed. However, assembled chipsets are permitted.
Robots’ dimensions should not exceed 25 cm x 25 cm x 25 cm.
Weight should not exceed 3.5 kg. Width of the line is 20mm. The arena will be in 15×13 feet area.
The track may contain crossed and curved black lines. Robots must be autonomous, wired or wireless.
Registration Fees: Rs. 500/-
Connection will not be allowed.
Robot should be battery operated which should not exceed 24V, 5A.
Judging Criteria:
Timing of Robot which completes the full track.
Hand Touch: +10 sec for each (2 free hand touches).
Check post to be used for hand touch reference.
After each hand touch the robot has to start from the last checkpoint crossed.
Maximum permitted time per team is 10 minutes.
If the team decides to quit, it will be marked as DNF.
Robot with shortest time and least penalty will be the winner.
