Case Study Competition

Rules for Participation

Maximum participants per team can be THREE and minimum ONE
Participants can be from any college/school/branch/course/semester
There would be 2 ROUNDS
Team can have mix participation from any course, any year or any specialization
One person cannot be a member of more than one team
Teams will have to stick to the deadliness
Any deviation from the above will result in immediate disqualification of the entire team
The decision of the organizers will be final and binding
All participants will get participating certificates

Prizes:

1^st – 12,000
2^nd– 8,000
Registration Fees: Rs.200

The Case Study Competition will be judged on the basis of below criteria

Clear problem identification
Use of background information
Organization of information
Appropriate strategies
Clear and concise communication of solution
Solution reflecting innovative and creative thinking
Usage of PowerPoint as a visual aid to enhance audience understanding and presentation

Round 1 – The Initial Hustle

Participating teams will be given a case study a day prior through emails, on which teams are required to make a presentation of their solution to the case before the judges and audience on the day of the competition in Round 1.
Participants will get 7 mins to present the solution to the case.
Best Teams will be selected from Round 1 who will participate in Round 2

Round 2 – The Final Battle

Qualifying teams from round 1 will be participating for round 2.
Complete new case shall be given for round 2 at the end of Round 1 to the qualifying teams
Each team will get 1 hour to solve the case and 10 mins to present the case followed by question answer session.
Top three teams will be selected as winners of the case study competition
